Award Winning Films
Queer Films.
Bold Visions.
Unforgettable Stories.
Harriet Productions is an independent film company dedicated to creating powerful, authentic stories rooted in queer experience. Founded by artists and activists, Harriet is a home for storytellers who refuse to compromise—centering LGBTQ+ characters, voices, and truths with depth, nuance, and unapologetic heart.
From sweeping small-town dramas to biting political comedies, our films are crafted with a clear mission: to reflect the beauty, complexity, and resilience of queer lives. Our work includes Cowboy Boots; Winters, Nebraska; and State Rep—each a testament to our belief that storytelling is resistance, and that queer art has the power to shift culture, spark conversation, and create lasting impact.
At Harriet Productions, we don’t just make films. We make space—for visibility, for joy, for truth.
